The main departments and the Department of language training and special disciplines of Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (ACEA) of Federal State Academic Educational Institution “Crimean federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky” annually trains more than 100 foreign residents and stateless persons from various countries worldwide.
At the Department of language training and special disciplines foreign residents and stateless persons spend 10 months studying Russian, mathematics, physics, technical drawing, computer science, chemistry, biology, history, economics, geography and other subjects in accordance with the chosen major course during the training course for entering into universities or institutes in Russian Federation. On the completion of the preliminary training course provided by the Department of language training and special disciplines of ACEA foreign residents and stateless persons successfully enter into various technical, humanitarian and medical universities, academies and institutes in Russia.
The Department of language training and special disciplines is proud of its high qualified teachers.
Foreign residents and stateless persons – students of the Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture take part in the All-Russian academic competitions in Russian and other subjects and win the highest prizes proving the high qualification of the teaching staff.
As usually, the study starts in September–October. Short-term language courses in Russian from 1 to 6 months are also provided.

The documents must be translated into Russian and legalized (certified by the seal) at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in your country. Be sure that all translations contain the same surname and given name(s) as it is put in your entry visa.
Academy students live in the Academy hostel. The students are treated by the tours, excursions, contests, sports competitions, evening get together and academic competitions during their leisure time.

Having obtained the visa, buy a ticket direct to Simferopol. Inform the International Center of the Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture by fax, e-mail, or inform the firm-intermediary or agent through which the invitation to study has been taken about the date and time of arrival to Simferopol and the flight number. The representative of the Academy should meet you at the airport.

Simferopol is an administrative and cultural centre of Crimea. There are several universities, many colleges and schools in the city. Crimea is multinational. People of different religions of more than 30 nationalities live and work together here.
